THE SCOPE OF SCRIPTURE

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Timothy 3:16-17

SCRIPTURE
can equip me for every good work.
It’s memorization I should not shirk.
SCRIPTURE
is valuable to teach me about the Lord.
The only way to know Him is to know His word.
SCRIPTURE
can be used to rebuke those who’ve gone astray;
to show them their error and the true way.
SCRIPTURE
can correct the one who has fallen short;
help him back on his feet, his walk with God restore.
SCRIPTURE
is the training book for children of the Lord.
Our manual for daily life is found within His word.
SCRIPTURE
helps us to be all God wants us to be;
to know His ways, to follow Him, His perfect will to see.
