POEM OF PRAISE: BLAZING GLORY

God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.
2 Thessalonians 1:6-7

Imagine Christ appearing in the clouds in blazing glory
surrounded by the angels heralding His story,
displaying all the power that before He held in check:
the next time Jesus comes He’ll have His foot on evil’s neck.
And we who serve the Lord on that day will be avenged
0f all the distress we’ve suffered at the hand of evil men.
In this world we will suffer; and on this Earth, we will have pain.
But may this fiery sky remind us that we do not toil in vain.
For when our Bridegroom takes us to the home He has prepared,
we’ll enjoy His presence and His peace forever there.
No more persecution, no more sorrow, no more tears,
just praising our Lord Jesus in freedom with no fears.
