MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE

Make a joyfulH7321 noise to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of His name; make His praise glorious. Say to God, “How awesome are Your deeds! So great is Your power that Your enemies cower before You. All the earth bows down to You; they sing praise to You; they sing praise to Your name.” Selah Come and see the works of God; how awesome are His deeds toward mankind. He turned the sea into dry land; they passed through the waters on foot; there we rejoicedH8055 in Him.

Verse 4 – All peoples of the earth, willingly or unwillingly, will “bow down” before the Lord, singing praise to his holy name.

Expositor’s Bible Commentary (Abridged Edition): Old Testament

Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above all names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:9-11

The Israelites testified everywhere they went—many times the story had preceded them—that God led them across the Red Sea on dry land and then drowned Pharoah’s army, chariots and horses included, when the sea crashed back over them. This was cause for all the nations—Israelites and Gentiles—to praise God’s glory and shout for joy! Even God’s enemies would feign obedience and praise to Him because they feared His power. In the future, there will come a day when all the people of the earth will be compelled to declare the Lordship of Jesus Christ and praise God’s glory. How much better is it to exalt Him joyfully, sincerely with vitality and fervor now than to be forced to kneel before Him as conquering King and spend eternity in Hell.

We are all eternal beings. The only question is where we will live when our life on earth is over. When it comes to the Lord Jesus, you are either with Him or against Him (Luke 11:23). Have you surrendered your life to Jesus when the Holy Spirit prompted you? When Christ returns to the earth as King, it will be too late. I realized at the age of about four that I wanted to be on Jesus’s team rather than the devil’s team. If you are not certain that you have trusted Jesus as your Savior, King, and Lord, we would love to talk with you about your relationship to Him. Contact us at www.preciousjewelsministries.com

Father, we celebrate You with a joyful noise, a shout of triumph because You have delivered us from the power of sin and death. We pray You give us the opportunity to lead others into a saving relationship with You as their Lord that they may join us in making Your praise glorious!
